hello out there!

so as most of you can probably guess i am way more of a city girl then a country fan, but over the long weekend i had the pleasure of visiting a friends cottage up north and i must admit it was quite lovely.

although it was a little hard to wear my new brogue lace-up pumps from marc by marc jacobs i did get good use of my new hunters (in very berry!)!

while i was at the cottage i experienced something that i often don’t get…peace and quiet. not that i don’t love my busy life, but i’m always doing something! over the weekend i got to spend time my good friends, reflect on my life and my goals and think about what i really wanted.

where i stayed all weekend!

i am going to take septmber as a fresh new start and make sure that i do one thing a day that i really love. whether that is taking more time to do my hot yoga, or reading my new fav book (currently the help by kathryn stockett) it’s so important to take some you time every day!

i encourage you all to day the same! the weekend was definitely just what i needed and i have come to appreciate nature much more! now for this week…TIFF! stay tuned i will definitely be out and about.
