I am writing you from the world of famous Big Apple !

Lesson No. 1 – Let’s do the Polka! (dot, that is).

Day of Shopping on 5th Avenue was exhausting! The big attraction was the Louie Vuitton windows – a collaboration between Japanese designer Yayoi Kusama and Louis Vuitton designers created this weirdly wonderful polka dot octopus and big carnivorous flowers. (we’re still talking about fashion right?)

Look out NYC! A polka dot octopus may be waiting around the corner to gobble you up if are only window-shopping and not spending your money!

Another shopping extravaganza is in SoHo. With so many unusual and unique boutiques, I could not say the same about the famous DASH fashion boutique of the Kardashian family. Wow! What a boring store! A mix of uneventful clothing. What was the fashion story this boutique was trying to tell? Nobody knows…Oh wait! I know: Cheap clothes and boring. (Stick to your reality TV shows ladies, leave fashion boutiques to the experts).

This brings me to Lesson No. 2: Style is something you are born with. You cannot buy it, even if you are a Kardashian!

Well, NYC was fun! A fashionista’s paradise!

Good Morning!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Can you believe that there are only about 12 shopping days until the big day! Yikes! I have been doing a lot of my shopping online to avoid all the craziness of the stores. A lot of my friends are big make-up junkies so I definitely stopped off at the O La La homepage and got some of their wonderful products (all available for purchase online)!

In a few weeks O La La will also be featured on the website ebeauty! Ebeauty is Canada’s new online destination for all your beauty needs! They offer some of the most loved and most exclusive make-up products on their site, so naturally O La La is very excited to be part of it!
